How is that socialism working out for Europe?

How is that socialism working out for Europe?
0bama is trying to change the US to be like the European socialist countries, while they are all going bankrupt due to socialist entitlements. Greece is going under, with Spain, Germany , Ireland, France following closely behind. Can't the liberals see that the excessive union and government benefits are not sustainable? Someone out there actually has to make the money to pay all of those benefits.

Anarchists are busy trying to morph it into Marxism.

Actually the estimated pecking order is Greek Spain Portugal Ireland. Germany is doing quite well actually, but its neighbours are dragging it down...

If you haven't noticed, AMERICA WENT UNDER A YEAR AGO before Obama's so called socialist agenda kicked in.

They should just do like the U.S. and borrow money like it's going out of style! Forget billions, that's chump change. The U.S. is headed for 13 tril, baby! Yeah! Now THAT'S real debt. Hawr hawr hawr (like Tim the Toolman)

Left WIng politics is far superior, it provides the poor with a good education, healthcare and a fair future, the right wing politics of america makes me sick, the very fact that your so ignorant you think all the European countries are socialist sickens me, Europe is miles ahead than the USA's political system, conservation governments are pointless, stale and only want to help the rich.

Greece's trouble hasn't been caused by socialism. The rest of Europe is struggling to cope with helping Greece - again, nothing to do with socialism.

ahh yes you are doing so well yourselves these days... we're jealous.... that'll be it. kiss kiss What has never ceased to amaze me is that a country that claims to be soooooo christian and right and good - can't even help their own after a natural disaster.. f3ck em right???? not my problem is it???

Oh, you can count on me on these FACTS: 1. European countries will never go bankrupt 2. European countries are not socialist(at least most of them are not) 3. Greece is going to rise again, now when EU countries had an agreement(finally) 4. USA should follow European countries lead, just look at the human development index ranking or healthcare ranking, USA is quite far behind

The stock market went down more than 300 points today because of the economic problems in Greece. At one point it was down almost 800 points. I call it the Carrefour Curse. Just watch and see. The European nations that go broke will be the ones that have Carrefour stores. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carrefour

Well. Spain is not a socialist country. Actually none of the countries you mentioned are socialist. Do you really know what socialism is? We have stock markets and all........... that would not happen in a socialist economy.

European countries are not socialist. Indeed countries such as Germany and France have centre-right governments at the moment. Your right however that the countries around the med (such as Greece, Spain, Portugal and Italy) have been living beyond there means since the Global recession. This is because the recession meant the governments got much less money in taxes because their economies shrank. However, the reason there are protests in Greece is because the people there feel it is deeply unfair they have to loose there jobs and services because of a recession which started in the huge banks of the USA. Nevertheless, Greece has been fiscally irresponsible. I think also it is important to mention that northern European countries, such as France, Germany, Denmark, Holland, Sweden and Finland etc also have high government benefits but are not at risk of bankruptcy. And it is these countries which will have to bail out Greece, along with the IMF. So really I don't think the situation has much do with 'socialism' but is to do with poor government.
