Lap dancing in night clubs in Germany as a job, what do you think?
Since last year many people closed to me are telling me that i should go dancing in Germany in night clubs because i can do good money there..up to 10000euro on month...I know someone that is already working in Stuttgard and she told me that she did at her best 7000euro and at her bad months 2500euro.. The problem is that i don't imagine myself having a life like this..or having this kind of jobs in my past..I prefer to do something else to make money but by having a decent life and not one that i am ashamed of because people judge u by this kind of jobs and i don't want to ruin my future ,and maybe loose people i care about in future..i don't know maybe a husband or friends etc. What makes me mad also is that this advices comes from the girl that a thought to be my friend..she was telling me this like is the best thing i should do for money, like she would do this for money but in reality she never has the courage to do it herself and also my boyfriend which is my bf for 5 years now..he thinks modern but..i don't want this kind of advices from them.. I have open mind but What do u think i should do?The money i could earn there make me think like is an opportunity but i am more realistic,i don't want to ruin my future and my opportunities..i don't feel like is something i should do for money ...i don't know if u understand what i want to say..but i will come with replies to your answers... P.S-i am 25 years,i have finished a management university..i worked in jobs in bank..or as a manager..for short time but i see myself having a decent life..i would work on cruise ships as waiter or something else than doing dances..even if i earn less...and i see myself in this decent kind of jobs and life..i know is hard now to find a job...which currently i don't have this is why i think about opportunities I am also an european woman..so maybe the sites u gave won't help me that much, but i will check them.Thank you. And yes i know that once i begun this kind of job is hard to get out ..is one of the reasons i don't want to accept this kind of job dor my own life... I am also an european woman..so maybe the sites u gave won't help me that much, but i will check them.Thank you. And yes i know that once i begun this kind of job is hard to get out ..is one of the reasons i don't want to accept this kind of job dor my own life...

It's very hard to leave the dancer's life once you start. Keep that in mind.
2 :
Do not go for any job you are not comfortable with. You would hate yourself if you did do it. And what is more, you would keep hating yourself if you do it even for a short time and it works out that you hate it. If you think you will go back to your real profession, a period as dancer, or a period that is not there in your CV will hurt your chances at any job, the better the job, the more it would hurt. If your boyfriend wants you to do strip dancing for money, kick him out. Or have him go strip dancing for money first and for a few years. I would not be surpriced if he would say that he does not mind you being a nude or strip dancer, but would let you down soon after you started doing it. And if that old friend has no better advice, find a better friend. Those sites are spam, ignore them and certainly do not send them personal information. As it is spam it is likely to be deleted some time soon. If you want to use sites like the ones that where spammed here, search on jobs and your country, in the local language by preference.

What do others think about blacks wanting money for slavery?
What do others think about blacks wanting money for slavery?
It appears lawmakers are willing to pass a bill apologizing for slavery, but the black leaders want money. They are fighting hard against a disclaimer which simply states descendants of slaves can't sue or collect money from the federal government. Even Obama is against this, and believes making inner city schools better should be enough. Do people really believe blacks should get money for something that happened to their great great grandfathers? Can I sue Germany for shooting my grandfather during WW2? Can Jews sue for the holocaust? Wars and the Holocaust were a lot worse than slavery.

I guess affirmative discrimination wasn't enough?
2 :
human nature is to ask and continue to ask for things if they are given to you. why wouldn't they try and get back payments? Now, I must say, I oppose the idea.
3 :
bogus.
4 :
I will gladly give money to any former slave that comes forth.
5 :
Reparations expect non-blacks to be responsible for the previous 8 generations while blacks have trouble being responsible for their own next generation
6 :
I will be glad if they are willing to go back to Africa after taking the money.
7 :
What I know for certain is this,if any reparations bill was ever passed,it would be the biggest detriment to race relations in the history of this country.Millions of "evil white people" like myself have no family history involving slavery whatsoever,my family wasn't even here.Tell those millions that after paying more taxes for bailouts, more taxes for other people's health care, more taxes for cap and trade, that suddenly they also get to pay more taxes for reparations, and you will damage race relations for generations to come. You will have to apply for scholarships through your school. Go to the academic advisor or to financial aid and inquire about the scholarships. They will give you forms to fill out.

Can I get the money to go to Germany for a year?
Can I get the money to go to Germany for a year?
I was recently rejected from the Congress Bundestag Youth Exchange program. I don't have any idea why, but the past is the past. Right now AFS is offering me partial aid so I would only have to pay 6,000 dollars for a year abroad. The problem is that I'm a graduating senior and have already been accepted into college and have about 10 days left to sign the enrollment slip and make a deposit. Is there any sure-fire way I could earn 6,000 over the summer (scholarships, fundraising ideas, etc)? because if I went I would need to save the little money I do have for my first year of college.

Hey Sean It seems like you have some opportunities coming your way if you hussle. Let me recommend an item that has worked for other people in your sitaution. Look into scratch cards from professional fundraising companies. They come in different varieties, it just depends on what you can get excited about. They're an easy sell because people want to save money on items they're going to buy anyway. For the price of a couple dollar donation to you they get a coupon. Each card can raise over $100 so the money will come in if you put in the effort. If you can get family and friends to help you that $6,000 is doable! In the meantime do things like put on a BBQ at a local mall in the summer, dog walking etc. More fundraising ideas at the links I've found. Good luck with whatever you choose.

What is the point in high gas prices when the earth has enough crued oil to last for another 200 years?
What is the point in high gas prices when the earth has enough crued oil to last for another 200 years?
Why does the government tell us that there is a gas shortage when there is actually plenty to go around. Why must the prices be $8.00 in England and $10.00 in Germany. All the government is doing is using the process of supply and demand. If everyone in the U.S.A would stop buying gas for a day or two or for a week the prices would come down because they are trying to make money and if we stop buying gas they stop making money.

That's true... besides, if you use less gas, you will helping the environment as well... You also won't be funding any terrorists or wars by riding your bike... It's a win/win situation to avoid using a lot of gas... And don't give in when they drop the price to a few cents either... make them beg you to take it for free...
5 :
First, that is not true. We don't know how much crude is available to an accurate degree. Second, the high price of gas will be required to justify the acquisition of much of the remaining oil, because it will cost more in equipment, time, and labor to recover it.

What is the best career path for me? Something where I make a lot of money, and help people around the globe?
What is the best career path for me? Something where I make a lot of money, and help people around the globe?
I just recently graduated High School and I'm thinking about what I should get my B.A in. I am a very International person, I'm Persian/Iranien who was born and raised in Germany. I speak 5 languages Farsi, German, English, French and Spanish, but my overall goal is to be Fluent in 7 languages! (possibly Arabic and Russian) ... i know sounds crazy but I can be a pretty valuable person :D. I moved to L.A. when I was 13 and finished Middle School and High School here. I'm a very friendly, honest , blunt, and caring person and therefore wanted to be some sort of an International Advocate, who helps a lot of people in desperate need around the globe (help fight against child prostitution in India; Help fight for Women Rights in countries like Iran and other middle eastern countries; perhaps work for the United Nations to push them to ensure peace around the world; etc.) After that I heard that the United Nations doesnt do anything and that the pay is low . I could become an Interpreter for private companies... but that doesnt help people around the world. I think it's very unfair that us Americans get to live this Luxurious Lifestyle while other countries are in desperate Help... but we do donate a lot of money though. So yah, if anyone has an idea, then feel free to answer :)

Well, there are some well paid Jobs at the UN, why not have a look at the careers page here; http://www.un.org/partnerships/YEmployment Or you could just go into International Law, the money is good and you help people
3 :
Nothing wrong with the UN or (if you are US citizen) the State Department especially when you are unsure what you really want. Yes, they won't play a lot for a rookie and have definite disadvantages but you will be able to travel, meet very important people (some of them good some bad), and learn a lot. That may help you find out what you really want to do with your life including workable ideals about how to make a lot of money and help people at the same time.

How much would it cost to travel around Europe?
How much would it cost to travel around Europe?
I am planning on backpacking around Europe for half a year after year twelve. I would be visiting England, Scotland, France, Switzerland, Italy, Greece and Germany but I have family and friends to stay with in France, Scotland, England and Germany. So If anyone has any recommendations about I should stay or could tell me about how much it would cost that would be great. I know it will be expensive as well so if you know any ways to reduce costs or make money that would be amazing. Thank you

Hey Hun To figure out how much money you will need, you must first consider where it is you are traveling to. Much of the world is quite inexpensive, but there are places that will drain your wallet faster than others. London, anywhere in Scandinavia, and Japan are some of the most expensive places to travel in. On the flip side, you can live and travel in parts of the Philippines for a couple of dollars a day. Next, break down your expenses into initial costs and daily costs. Initial costs include your airline ticket, your backpack, passport, guidebook, hostel card and all other equipment purchased before you leave. Already have some of this stuff? Can you borrow any of it from friends? If so, you're saving money already. If you are headed for Europe, a Eurail pass would also be a wise initial expense. The next thing to consider is how many days you will be away. Obviously, the longer your trip, the more money you will need. Now you can figure out roughly how much you will spend on the following each day: accommodations, food, transportation and sight-seeing. A typical travel budget for one day in Europe might look something like this: Accommodations: $15 Food: $16 Transportation: $4 Sight-seeing: $5 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Total: $40 You can now multiply your total daily budget by the number of days you will be away. For example, if you were to be gone for one month (30 days), your total cost would be around $1200, just for daily expenses. Then add on your initial costs to get your total travel budget: Daily budget x Number of days + Initial costs = Total budget Remember that these prices are only an example and that your daily budget will be an average. Obviously you won't be paying for museums everyday, but $5/day is a good average. Prices are so variable everywhere you go that a daily budget could be half this (or double). Check your travel guide to get a good idea how much your accommodations might cost. They usually list visa prices as well. And don't forget to allow for any extra expenses. If your calculated total travel budget is much higher than you think you can manage to save up, you shouldn't let that stop you from going abroad. There are plenty of options to travel on the really cheap, and you can always consider finding work abroad. Happy Travels!
