Are Conservatives upset becasue they can`t make Germany give up their social programs?
Conservatives can take out Greece, Spain and Portugal and make them give up their social programs and raise their retirement age even thought we are told we will not live as long as our parents but what about Germany? Well they have a trade surplus and cannot be touched by banksters and Goldman Sachs toxic assets. And yes I know Goldman gave money to Obama just like Romney and McCain. So who do the Americans get their industrial might back besides throwing oversea containers in the harbor?

lol conservatives. Try uncontrolled spending and running out of money in greece. You know, just like we do here. But dont worry we gots us some of that hope stuff here, so everything is fine.

It's true conservatives don't want us to know much about how Germany and a few other first world countries are run - how far better off there citizens are compared to us Americans - spent two and a half years in Germany so know first hand - thanks to the Army.

I see that you have not followed the latest elections in Germany, Merkel won re-election on the platform of lower taxes, cutting down the size of government. Also Germany has an unemployment rate of 16%, they were "touched" by the toxic assets. You need to get the correct facts before you make a claim like that. Obama wants to pattern the economy of the US after the "green economy" of Spain. Spain has an unemployment rate of 20%, is that what you want to have come here? The "Recession of Bush" with its unemployment rate of 5%, is easier to take than the "Recovery of Obama" with its 9.7% unemployment rate.
