Is fh darmstadt an accredited institution in Germany?
My friend just got accepted into Hochschule Darmstadt university in Germany. I know there are some scam universities in europe. I want to make sure this university is quality and hes not wasting his time and money.

There are no scam universities in Germany --- all are controlled by the state (for the most are public) In Darmstadt are 2 Hochschule Darmstadt technics (public) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darmstadt_University_of_Applied_Sciences and efh Darmstadt ( humanities (most nursery), protestant church [they are a public in Germany]) http://www.efh-darmstadt.de/index.php?lng=en Hochschule and University are public trademarks in Germany. You cannot open your own university in Germany without permit of the state. There are only a view private universities in Germany --- they all are controlled strictly and are better than the public ones.
