Did adidas make all their money from sponsoring European football?

Did adidas make all their money from sponsoring European football?
I've noticed that Adidas bought Reebok, sponsors the NBA, sponsor the NY Yankees and some major college football teams. I know their based in Germany, but how did they make all this money? I assume it has to be from sponsoring European football, but I'd like to know more about it.

Accually your right! when they were in Germany they sponsored football teams and made their start!
2 :
Adidas started as Gebrüder Dassler Schuhfabrik (Dassler Brothers Shoe Factory) which was run by two German brothers. The two brothers split after world war two forming their own seperate sporting companies, one came up with Adidas and the other Puma. Adidas went through a period of great expansion during the 80's and 90's and made decisive moves by incorporating other companies into the brand, expanding the scope of their business and moved manufacturing into Asia whcih led to the company becoming a major International brand. Adidas now has many fingers in many pies by providing clothing and equipment for a vast range of sports and markets its goods by sponsoring famous names, teams and events across the globe. These include Rugby with the likes of New Zealand's All Blacks and the French national team, Cricket with the Australian and England national sides as well as the London marathon and Olympic games. But as you predicted by far their largest sponsorship interest is in football (soccer), sponsoring major national teams such as Germany, Argentina, France, Mexico and the world champions, Spain, as well as providing the kits for a number large number of European football clubs including Real Madrid, AC Milan, Chelsea, Liverpool and Bayer Munich. And now they are expanding into the United Stated with sponsorship deals with MLS, NBA and so on. Hope this answered your question.

OK, so you're going to have something that other people want, you can sell many times, and make a little bit of money each time you sell it... how about writing an Ebook- How teenagers can make money. Come up with 20 or 30 ways you can do it and launch it on the social pages like Facebook, Myspace etc. I bet that you could easily come up with the ideas, and maybe you sell it for $5 each report, you'd be helping others, it's easily affordable, and once you've written it you can sell it over and over again. good luck Tony

Hi, there isn't really much you can do then. Internet sites work great =]. Try asking your parents if they have anything to do for you for money?

Get a paper route. While we often think of paper delivery as a job for a boy on a bike, all kinds of people pick up extra cash this way. Because papers are delivered in the morning, it's possible to complete a route before the regular workday starts, or before your kids are up. (Just make sure you catch up on your sleep by going to bed early at night!)

Paid Surveys Kids can also be great survey takers on the Internet as well. Who said a kid couldn’t make money off the Internet? To enroll your child to take paid survey from panels that we recommend, view them here. The two we strongly recommend joining is the Synovate panel and the Opinion Outpost panel.

How can printing more money make it worth less?

How can printing more money make it worth less?
Like, you know how the U.S. is in debt? When I first heard that, the first thing I thought was "Print more money" and I didn't think of it again until someone brought it up a couple days ago in my AP Human Geography class. I don't understand how printing more money can make it worth less. Like how Germany (I think it was that country) printed more money to pay off a debt; how China printed a lot of money, making it worth less; and how the pound is worth more than U.S. dollars. I really don't get it ._.

Money's value is detirmined through how much of it there is. The more there is, the less its worth. Another thing about our American dollar is that there is no backing it, while most other countries have some backing to it. so when they print moreit means they genuinly have more money, while we have nothing to back it except for the amount of it and the power of our government.
2 :
At one time our money was backed by gold - one paper dollar for one oz of gold now if you printed two or more dollars backed by the same amount of gold that's called inflating the dollars and of course each dollars is worth less. Today our dollars are not backed by any metal but non the less a few short years back gold was selling for 2 to 3 hundred dollars an oz. today it's been batting near 2000 dollars an oz - it's because of inflation and huge printing of dollars.
3 :
You need to take Econ 101.
4 :
the more that is printed the less it is worth. Printing more money that can't be backed causes the value of the dollar to go down which causes inflation.

What is the best way to make money selling American products in Europe?

What is the best way to make money selling American products in Europe?
I have heard from several people that some American brands (e.g. Abercrombie) are somewhat rare/expensive in Europe. Apparently it is a combination of tariffs, taxes etc that bring the price up. What I want to do is bring a couple articles of clothing, or other objects, to sell in hopes of making money and getting rid of things I don't use. What I would like advice on is how to do this and what to sell. If it helps I will be in Germany, France, and Belgium.

In Belgium it's illegal to sell on the streets, you will get arrested. Plus you'll have to gain a license, but I think that kind of license will only allow yo to rent a spot on the marketplace during a marketday and sell your goods there.
