who else is pissed about torres nilo?
torres nilo had a shot at going to wolfsburg but because atlas would not make any money off of it he is now going to tigres and could possibly ruin his career. i dont really care about him but that dude is still young and germany could have done him some good.

Their Is Still A Possibility Of Tigres Selling Him To Get More Money
2 :
Yeah dude i was disappointed at that. There was rumors of him going to European teams like Deportivo La Coruna and other teams. I hope Tigres makes him a better player than he was at atlas though. IF he does get better than he'll go for sure to a European team in the future after all he's young. ---** I hope Pumas don't make the same mistake with Juarez or/and Barrera in case they get offers from European teams after the World Cup
3 :
didnt hear about that but thats sucks......its not like atlas to hold back a player like that.....
4 :
just sad they they only think of profit but not the future of the mexican national team its a disapointment really
5 :
Maybe Tigres will have him for like 2 season and than sell him to a Euro club to get more money!
6 :
i am he should have stood his ground and told them he wanted to go to Germany but sadly this also shows hes determination to become a better player, because if he didn't want to atlas couldn't force him to go to tigres. also which club would you rather want to be in atlas , a club that has a better probability that they will sell u in the future to Europe because of economic problems or tigres , a club that will probably buy an extranjero to replace you after the first season if you fail instead of giving you another chance or if you really hit it up would raise their asking price extremely high so either way you wouldn't move to Europe , cause Europeans clubs are not dumb in negotiations and know they could get a better bargain in Brazil or Argentina

emmigrating to canada as an computer scientist?
emmigrating to canada as an computer scientist?
after spending a few holidays in canada, i really fell in love with this country. now i`m thinking about emmigrating to canada, but i`m not sure how exactly to do it, especially about making money. I`m 25 years old and in about 3 months I will have my diploma. I`ve studied informatics and computational liguistics at the university of heidelberg, germany. my final grades will be good-excellent. since about 18 months i`ve worked part time at hewlett-packard as an administrator/supporter for linux and unix servers. so i could be working as an administrator or in computational linguistics/software development. i can program java, perl, python and c. just as a quick outline..... now i want to compare income chances in both countries. could any1 tell me about how much i could make working in canada? how much taxes/insurance(health/loss of employment/etc.) would i have to pay? what would i have to do to get a permit for work? would really appreciate if any1 could help. thanx a lot, michael I kind of expected the salaries in canada to be a little lower than in the us. in germany i would start with about 42.000 euros a year. exchange rate for cad is about 1,33, which would make 55820 cad a year. but i`m not strictly comparing the salaries between the countries. i want to go to canada, not the us and for sure not uk. (i really love vancouver!!! :) ) so i just wanted to know about how much it could be and how much must be subtracted for taxes and insurances. maybe if i could make more working in software development or linux administration. thanks, michael

Dont know much about Germany but if you just want to compare money earning potential you would probably be better off in the USA, UK. Because salaries there are much better compared to those in Canada. Canada is slowly picking up on IT boom but that may take some time, as of now USA may be the best option.

Is this guy serious? or is he trying to steal money from my bank account?
Is this guy serious? or is he trying to steal money from my bank account?
Ok... so i received this email from a stranger in africa saying: Dear Friend, I am MR. KEVIN ZONGO. THE MANAGER, AUDITING AND ACCOUNTING DEPT. BANK OF AFRICA (B.O.A) in Ouagadougou , Burkina Faso . In my department we discovered an abandoned sum of (US$10,500,000.00). TEN MILLION FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND UNITED STATES DOLLARS in an account that belongs to one of our foreign customer (MR. ANDREAS SCHRANNER from Munich , Germany ) who died along with his entire family in victims of AF4590 in 31st July 2000 plane crash. Since we got the information about his death, we have been expecting his next of kin to come over and claim his money because we cannot release it, unless some body applies for it as next of kin or relation to the deceased as indicated in our banking guidelines and laws, but unfortunately we learnt that all his supposed next of kin or relation died alongside with him at the plane crash leaving nobody behind for the claim. It is therefore upon this discovery that I now decided to make this business proposal to you and release the money to you as the next of kin or relation to the deceased person for safety and subsequent disbursement since nobody is coming for it and I don't want this money to go into the bank treasury as unclaimed bill. The banking law and guidelines here stipulates that if such money remained unclaimed after Seven years, the money will be transferred into the bank treasury as unclaimed fund. The request of foreigner as next of kin in this business is occasioned by the fact that the customer was a foreigner and a Burkinabe cannot stand as next of kin to a foreigner. I have agree that 30% of this money will be for you as a respect to the provision of a foreign account , 10% will be set aside for expenses incurred during the business and 60% would be for me Thereafter, I will visit your country for disbursement according to the percentage indicated Therefore, to enable the immediate transfer of this fund to you, you must apply first to the bank as relation or next of kin of the deceased indicating your bank name, your bank account number, your private telephone and fax number for easy and effective communication and location where in the money will be remitted. Upon receipt of your reply, I will send to you by fax or email the text of the application. I will not fail to bring to your notice that this transaction is hitch-free and that you should not entertain any atom of fear as all required arrangements have been made for the transfer. Trusting to hear from you immediately. Yours Faithfully, MR. KEVIN ZONGO Manager, Auditing and Accounting Dept.

should we legalize all drugs or just cannabis, what do you think?
should we legalize all drugs or just cannabis, what do you think?
Prohibition does not prevent cannabis use by children or the mentally ill, the vulnerable populations whom we supposedly want to protect. Instead, cannabis prohibition makes it more difficult for parents, patients, society, doctors and law enforcement to control cannabis use. The Drug War makes honest education about cannabis impossible, and leaves cannabis users marginalized in ways that make their lives more stressful. This stress is unhealthy for everyone, but it is certainly most damaging to people with schizophrenia. Cannabis prohibition is not merely a failure; it is a counterproductive fraud that is harming those whom we claim we want to protect. There are currently more teens in treatment centers for marijuana in comparison to those admitted for alcohol. Only an idiot would have to ask why alcohol is not the no#1 problem after all alcohol is perfectly legal ( If you are 21.) That is due to responsible people handling alcohol by way of the carding and id system. Contraband markets make no age disgression. Since the crackdown on tobacco there are 75% fewer teens trying or using tobacco. However when it comes to cannabis and other illicit substances it’s a whole other ball game. Control, regulation and better education work prohibition, dose not. Or as John Walters of the ondcp (Office for national drug control policy) calls it “ a war on drugs†(Sorry John but it's true look at the Netherlands) America loves a war even if it is on it’s own people. One of several reason they don’t legalize drugs is not because of the harm of drugs, But people would lose more money in the long run. Some of the people behind the support of this irrational so called war are The tobacco industry, the alcohol and distilled spirit industry ( people simply don’t drink as much, or decide not to drink at all with cannabis meaning a decline in there sales. The pharmaceutical corporations can not make money on whole or raw cannabis, but they can charge an arm and a leg for there synthetic Marinol (dronabinol) CIII. The textile and paper industry would lose out from hemp production, sinse hemp dose not need to go through all the various processes that ordinary tree products would. Also it’s possible to get two harvest in one season. However people don’t know the difference between industrial hemp and smokeable cannabis, yet they are able to distinguish between the two in other country’s like Germany, the UK , Netherlands and even Canada, but our `DEA agents are so dumb they cant tell the difference between a stalk and a bush. Also people who have any knowledge of growing high quality cannabis will tell you that male plants should never be grown next to your high grade female plants, (unless of course you want to pollinate for future seed production). When it comes to farming hemp the males are left in tact to pollinate the females and produce as much seed as possible. This would mean a seedy mess for the pot smoker to clean up and produce undesirable future generations of smokeable cannabis. If anything, Hemp farming would be anti marijuana and would harm any outdoor pot farming within a one mile radius of any hemp farm. The petroleum industry would also be affected, sinse almost everything that can be made from petroleum can be synthesized from hemp oil, everything from bio fuel to even plastics. If North America would use a third of it’s land for hemp production we could create enough bio fuel to supply an area the size of Canada. Now also for a moment consider how many people are incarcerated over just cannabis who are currently in the prisons and jails. If cannabis were legalized and all inmates serving time for cannabis were freed there would be an over abundance of empty cells, and millions of guards in this country would be no longer needed. The prison building industry would almost be obsolete ( and if all drugs were legalized that would mean even more empty cells). So the prison system must have some means of gaining more inmates. Not to mention other areas such as treatment centers, probation.etc or HIDTA high intensity drug traffic areas where money is fed in to law enforcement, (they would miss there green $$$) Drugs , not even alcohol are the cause of the fundamental ills of society, rather than checking people for the presence of drugs, they should first test people for stupidity, ignorance, greed and love of power. Why will China become the next superpower?
Why will China become the next superpower?
What is China doing that is different than what others are doing? Japan and Germany are both more wealthier than China, why aren't they superpowers? On the other hand, what can stop china from becoming a superpower? How likely is it to happen? When? Also, although China is making more money, are the people's lives nice? Do most of them have more than basic necessities? Or are many living in poverty because there's just not enough wealth to go around?

China IS already a superpower. It has one third of all people and increasing economic might. I would not be too afraid. Chinese are not expansionist, and actually have great work ethics.

china is economic powerful, it more like a power over the world from their products. Usa owes 812 bil to em

If they move completely to Capitalism, like the USA, they will become a Great SuperPower. If they stay with Socialism, they will always have starving people.

China is already the next superpower. They're justing laying low and allowing the U.S. to take the heat on every thing wrong in the world. The communist government keeps people in line... the army would be enormous and it wouldn't take long to put it in action.
8 :
China's GDP is growing at 8-10% a year, and their military is growing at the same rate. Poverty is all across rural China, but the cities have been growing at tremendous rates. Depsite being Communist, they have adopted some capitalistic polices. As for trade, the USA has a 200 billion dollar trade deficit with China. It is weakening our economy, and is strengthening theirs.
9 :
itle: The Next Superpower: Strategic Implication of China's Economic Development Author: Carl S. Murphy, Lieutenant Commander, United States Navy Thesis: The central argument of this paper is that U.S. policy can play a pivotal role in China's stability and in the leadership's inclination remain cooperatively engaged in world affairs, or withdraw behind a bulwark of absolute sovereignty and frustrated nationalism. This is so, because China's dependence on the global economy provides the United States, as the sole remaining superpower, with considerable economic leverage to supplement its diplomatic and military influence in shaping policy to accommodate or frustrate China's emergence as a 21st century global power. A pragmatic U.S. engagement policy which recognizes that the passage of time promises a favorable evolution if China remains interdependent within the global economy. Discussion: The revival of China's economy and its continued growth makes the emergence of the PRC as a superpower in the 21st century a credible prediction. However, the need to sustain economic growth has become central to the stability of China and forced pragmatic choices on the Chinese leadership. There is an intrinsic contradiction between China's dependence on foreign market access, investment and technology to grow its economy, and the Chinese inclination toward state centered power-politics linked to insistence that China has been denied the respect due a rising power. Sustained growth of the Chinese economy at the present rate is conditioned by a stable international environment for trade, continued inflows of foreign investment, access to foreign markets and the availability of foreign technology--all of which are heavily influenced by policy decisions made in Washington. While China's economic development portends tremendous growth and future power, there is also a fragility in the economy and the fabric of China. The erosion in credibility of world communism has deprived China's leadership of an ideological basis for its continued rule. In response, the leadership has embarked on a dual strategy to legitimize continued communist control: 1) Performance-based legitimacy through sustainment of economic growth and 2) Appeals to nationalism and the Chinese perception of their historical importance, to provide a unifying vision for the populous and inoculate against opposing ideologies. While military improvement has been modest, China's economic strength is growing rapidly. Beijing's nationalistic appeals to the restoration of a perceived historical greatness, combined with popular resentment over imperialist humiliation in the last century, point toward China's development as an increasingly powerful nation--even a future superpower. U.S. force reductions independent of, or in conjunction with, withdrawal from the Asian-Pacific region has the potential to make China a military peer early in the next century. Economic modernization supports increased world influence and military power, but forces China' to sublimate military assertiveness to maintain a stable environment for commerce. While efforts to sustain growth have forced subordination of China's zero-sum approach to sovereignty in favor of pragmatic diplomacy, there is an intrinsic dissonance in China's behavior. Nationalistic maneuvering, as evidenced by irredentist territorial claims and anti-imperialist rhetoric, can be seen to arise from a renewed sense of Chinese pride and importance as a result of increasing economic clout. Exercise of China's growing power, however, is in conflict with the international behavior required to assure foreign investors of China's domestic stability and aversion to foreign adventures.

I lived in China for about nine years. So, based on that, I think people's lives are pretty good. It's not like we were treated badly or anything. I didn't even know what government we had until I came to America (of course, then I was pretty young). And we had all we needed.

Yes. To understand China you have to examine the core social differeneces between a capitalist and a communist structure... not economically but socially. The difference is and why China will surpass the USA in superpower status is that our capitalist society is taught from birth that wealth and success evolve around 'self'. A communist society teaches their citizens from birth that success evolves around 'community'. So what you end with is a society of self-centered aholes versus a society of citizens willing to give their lives for their country. Btw, this is why you see many Chinese leaders looked upon as a 'father' and loved as such.... this stems out of the sense of family or community I was referring to. In addition, the community takes care of its citizens. Capitalist are always trying to make the argument that capitalism is more productive and successful. It isn't as China is about to show us. In the end, all capitalism does it produce an elite group of very extremely greedy ppl that control most of the wealth and a society of resentful ppl of that wealth. China is illustrating to the world that communism works.

I'm not convinced that they will. They need too high a % of available resources just to feed their population.

China IS already a superpower. It has one third of all people and increasing economic might. I would not be too afraid. Chinese are not expansionist, and actually have great work ethics.
5 :
china is economic powerful, it more like a power over the world from their products.

It is weakening our economy, and is strengthening theirs.

itle: The Next Superpower: Strategic Implication of China's Economic Development Author: Carl S. How do I make this step fun and loving?
How do I make this step fun and loving?
My fiance and I are extremely happy together and very much in love. Right now we are getting ready for some big life changes - I am graduating from college, he is starting a new job, we will be getting married soon, and will be buying our first home together. We are struggling a little financially because of the economy (lost investments) so money is tight. But I want to do something special. My fiance's new job will require us to live in Germany for about three months during his first year with the company, which also happens to be the first year of our marriage. He feels bad about taking us down a path that will add a huge move and lifestyle change in another country when we already have so much else going on in the near future. I personally think it will be sort of exciting but he continues to feel sort of guilty. My question is, what can I do to show that I am 100% supportive and help him feel better? I thought of maybe trying to get a big basket of German cheeses - I just want to buy or do something romantic and creative in preparation for the time in Germany. Again, money is tight but I have a little saved up secretly for special things like this. Any suggestions? :)

It sounds like this move is not going to be too bad for the two of you as you are looking at the bright side of things. You could do the cheese with a german wine, bratwursts with german beer, or even a collage of pictures of the people he will be missing and the ordinary good times the two of you will be missing while over there. Like maybe an evening out at the bar with all your friends.

my husband and I have been married going on 4 years in July. the first couple months, things were great, we barely fought, we spent all our time together, and were in that "honeymoon" stage. after the 2nd or 3rd month, things started going downhill, and have been bad ever since. 4 months after getting married we moved to germany, cause hes military, and in 06 he was deployed. during this time, (1 year) we had our daughter. she is alot of the reason i stay, but also cause i love him. but ever since he started asking me to do that, and i started a friendship with another man, whom i no longer talk to, things have just been bad. we fight about money, what i make for dinner, EVERYTHING!!!! the house is never clean enough. blah blah blah!! he tells me he doesnt want me to work, then turns around and bithces cause i dont have a job, and we never have "play" money. i dont wanna leave so what are some ways i can make things better between us, and help strengthen our marriage? dont be rude!!! thanks 6ofUs. that is a great suggestion. hopefully it will help.

Seriously, no one here can help you with that many issues. You need to get into marriage counseling, and quick. In fact, don't even read my response, just make that phone call!

You did the right thing by ending the friendship with the other man. Things got worse after the friendship because you formed an emotional bond with someone else besides your husband. This closeness only makes the one that you're with appear worse. You should avoid such closeness with other men, and be sure to communicate your feelings to your spouse. Be dedicated to praying about and working on your issues. That's marraiage. It has it's ups and downs, and that's perfectly normal. Let him know how you feel about his contradictions, and come to an agreement. It will work out.

Wow! You sound like me in the beginning. The only thing hat REALLY worked for us was growing the heck up! My husband had issues that I could not change and I had some that he couldn't change. That is NOT a judgment or an insult it really is the truth. Your husband really needs to grow up and be more compassionate towards you though. I don't know what your issues may be, though none make you deserve being abused (physically, emotionally or verbally). Maybe you should seek marital counseling also.Be strong, continue to LOVE & Good luck!

Sounds to me like your hubby is bitchy and childish. He wants to have his cake and eat it too....and then complain about the crumbs. :s Perhaps he should be thinking of ways to make your marriage better. If he wasn't willing to put in an adult effort and stop with the crap, I'd pack my bags and leave him to deal with the not-clean-enough house himself. My partner knows this much : if it's cleaned I did it and if it's not clean "enough" for him he can darn well do it himself. Same goes for supper, I cook, he eats. There is no complaint or argument. I don't run a restaurant or an inn. I am not a maid nor a master chef but I do my best and always put my heart in what I do and that should be acknowledged. To strengthen your marriage, grow a back bone and stand up for yourself. Show him that you are not his door mat. Trust me, he'll respect you more for speaking up than if you continue to play the "poor-me" pity card. Good luck.
